What is Fast Money Music?

Could be fast? Could be money. Could even be music. Maybe it’s none of the above and everything at the same time. Could be a Suicide song. Or a song from under the floorboards. A naive melody in the style of Melody Nelson. Or maybe, it’s the absence of all those things. It’s the solo project of Nick Hinman, an American-born and East London-based musician and producer, molding his love of post-punk, no wave, protopunk and pop music (the nostalgic and familiar) into something unique and original. Forged in NY, tempered in LA and debuting in London, FMM molds the nostalgic and familiar into something unique and original. “This thing has been a really exciting discovery for me… it’s certainly post-punk, hints at new wave, and is really good at painting a picture and causing the chaos in equal measures.”
